Industrial Design
We design products, furniture, lighting and integrated architectural systems. Working across standalone commissions and integrated project elements, we create new products and components that strengthen identity, improve performance and enrich how spaces are used.
Approach
Industrial Design at PLP extends our architectural thinking into the scale of product and detail. Alongside components and integrated project elements, we develop new product ideas through research, prototyping and material exploration, helping clients reimagine how objects can look, perform and respond to changing patterns of use. The result is work that is technically robust, visually refined and closely connected to the wider spatial experience.
Product
We design products and compact systems for consumer, workplace and digital applications. Our process moves from early concept thinking through CMF (colour, material and finish) development, prototyping, technical definition and production support, resulting in products that are carefully resolved, useful and considered in every detail.

A set of product design strategies developed for a multi-national technology company. Design and research explored how products exist within the home.

Furniture
We create furniture for workplace, hospitality and residential environments, alongside bespoke pieces developed for individual architectural projects. Each design is shaped around function, comfort and durability, with careful attention to proportion, material and how it will be used.

PLP Architecture’s new London studio is a working model for circular design, where 92% of materials are reused or donated and a further 7% recycled, diverting 175.78 tonnes of CO₂ from landfill.

GUS, is an AI generated stool made from mycelium. We became a node in the fungal network in London and beyond, by working in tandem with mushroom enthusiasts from local community groups to bio-oriented AI designers.

The four-minute film features COO Mark Kelly, Studio Designer Michael Polisano and Sustainability Coordinator Deepthi Ravi, who share how the team approached their own office move as a live experiment in circular design.

The Yandex Headquarters brings the tech company’s ecosystem together under one roof, creating a centre for collaboration and innovation.
Lighting
We design lighting elements and systems that sit naturally within architectural settings. Balancing performance, technical clarity and visual refinement, our work is developed through testing and collaboration to produce lighting that enhances both atmosphere and function.

Building Components & Systems
We develop architectural elements ranging from façade components and hardware to modular interior systems. Applying industrial design thinking at the scale of the building, we create components that support performance, ease of use and a more coherent spatial experience.

60 Curzon is a boutique collection of ultra-prime residences in Mayfair, combining heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary luxury in one of London’s most prestigious addresses.

A bespoke wall system that integrates metal and stone tiles to create unique configurations.
Bespoke Solutions
Where a project calls for something specific, we design custom objects, interfaces and hybrid elements shaped around its particular needs. These pieces are developed to align with the identity of a space, combining precision, ingenuity and a strong sense of fit.
