About

Located in southwest Moscow, the new Yandex Headquarters is designed as a next-generation workplace campus for one of Europe’s largest technology companies. At approximately 170,000 m², the project brings together office space, public amenities and cultural functions within a single connected environment, reflecting Yandex’s ambition to create a workplace that extends beyond the boundaries of a conventional corporate building.

The building is organised around a central multi-storey hub that acts as the social and spatial heart of the campus. Workspaces, collaboration areas, communal functions and shared amenities are layered around this internal core, creating an environment designed to support interaction, visibility and exchange across the organisation.

At ground level, the building is lifted to create a more open and accessible public realm, connecting surrounding streets, landscape and civic activity across the site. Retail, cafés, a public plaza and a museum are integrated into the lower levels, helping to establish the project as a destination that engages with the wider city rather than operating as a self-contained office campus.

The architecture is shaped by a strong structural and material expression, with a titanium façade and large spans that support flexibility, openness and long-term adaptability. This allows the building to accommodate a broad mix of workplace settings while maintaining a clear and recognisable identity at the scale of the city.

Technology is embedded throughout the workplace, supporting a more responsive and adaptable environment. Flexible floorplates and a wide range of work settings allow teams to move between focused and collaborative modes, while digital infrastructure helps optimise space use and user experience. This approach enables the building to evolve alongside the company, supporting changing patterns of work over time.

Material identity

A titanium façade wraps the building in a clear and recognisable architectural language, giving the campus a strong civic presence within Moscow. Its material expression balances technological ambition with a durable and highly crafted urban identity.
