PLP Architecture Unveils Designs for Elizabeth House, One Waterloo

ProjectAUG 26 / 2026

PLP Architecture is working on One Waterloo, one of London's largest and most important redevelopment projects, transforming Elizabeth House into a connected, mixed-use destination at the heart of Waterloo.
Working alongside HB Reavis, the proposal takes a retrofit-led approach, retaining the existing structure and targeting a 75% reduction in embodied carbon compared to demolition and new build.

With extensive new public realm and improved pedestrian connectivity, the mixed-use scheme will bring together hotels, student accommodation, BTR homes, workspace, retail, leisure, and food and beverage - creating a vibrant, all-day destination for residents, workers, visitors, and the wider community.

We look forward to continuing to develop the vision for this strategically significant site, drawing on PLP’s experience of complex urban transformation across the world, and sharing further updates along the way.
