New Publication: Office Buildings for the 21st Century

PracticeSEP 30 / 2026

As patterns of work continue to evolve, what will define the most successful office buildings of the future? How can workplace architecture support not only productivity, but also wellbeing, collaboration and innovation?

PLP Architecture's latest publication, Office Buildings for the 21st Century, explores these questions through four of our completed and under-construction landmark projects: Arbor in PLP-designed Bankside Yards in London, Seoul Forest Tower in Seoul, The Clifford in Singapore, and NTT Hibiya Tower in PLP’s Hibiya Crosspark .

Drawing on completed and under-construction developments, the publication examines how contemporary office buildings are responding to changing expectations around work, technology and urban life. Through these case studies, it highlights a shift from offices as places solely dedicated to work towards destinations that foster human connection, creativity, culture and collective experience.

The publication also considers the role of the office building within the wider city, exploring how workplace environments can contribute to more vibrant, inclusive and sustainable urban centres.
