Located on one of Mumbai’s most prominent waterfront sites, Worli Seaface is a residential development for Lodha designed to bring a quieter and more crafted architectural presence to the edge of the Arabian Sea. The project brings together a limited number of expansive homes within a highly considered architectural framework, balancing openness, privacy and a strong connection to the coastal landscape.
The design is shaped by its relationship to the water, with expansive glazing, terraces and carefully proportioned openings framing long views across the horizon. Light, outlook and spatial continuity are prioritised throughout, allowing the experience of each residence to feel open, calm and closely tied to its setting.
Internally, the homes are planned with a strong sense of sequence and proportion, creating spaces that feel generous yet composed. Living areas open towards the sea, while more private zones are arranged to provide intimacy and retreat within the wider plan.
The façade draws from the fluid qualities of the coastline, using soft curves and a light material expression to respond to shifting light and atmosphere throughout the day. This gives the building a sense of movement and softness, while maintaining the clarity and discipline of a highly resolved residential form.
Throughout the project, materiality and detail are used to reinforce a sense of permanence, calm and restraint. The architecture is less about display and more about creating an elevated living environment shaped by light, view and the particular qualities of its waterfront setting.
Expansive terraces extend the living spaces outward, creating a seamless relationship between the residences and the Arabian Sea. This layered approach enhances privacy while allowing each home to feel open, light-filled and deeply connected to its coastal setting.

Along the waterfront
Positioned along Mumbai’s iconic seafront, the building responds to the energy of the promenade while presenting a refined and elegant presence to the city. Carefully articulated frontage and materiality give the tower a strong civic presence while reinforcing its sense of exclusivity and address.
