Rikaz Towers

Located steps from the Corniche waterfront in Al Khobar, Rikaz Towers is a mixed-use development designed to bring together homes, hospitality and public amenities within a new destination on the Arabian Gulf. The 63,780 m² scheme is organised around two distinct towers and a series of activated podiums, creating a lively and connected urban environment at the city’s eastern edge.

One tower accommodates 105 private apartments, while the other brings together 123 hotel rooms and 84 serviced residences. Together, they create a new residential and hospitality offering for the city, combining private living with a broader mix of shared amenities, dining and leisure.

At ground level, shaded arcades, plazas, retail and dining spaces help extend activity into the public realm, creating a more open and animated streetscape throughout the day and evening. Wellness, workplace and hospitality functions are layered into the podiums, allowing the development to operate as both a destination and an active part of the surrounding city.

The architecture responds directly to its coastal setting through curving façades, sculpted massing and terraces that maximise views across the Gulf while supporting solar control and outdoor amenity. This approach gives the towers a softer and more fluid relationship to the waterfront, while helping to create comfortable and usable outdoor environments across the development.

Rather than operate as two isolated buildings, the project is conceived as a connected mixed-use environment where residential, hospitality and public functions work together as part of a wider urban experience. This layered programme supports activity throughout the day and reinforces the development’s role as a new civic and social destination within Al Khobar.The result is a mixed-use development that brings together living, hospitality and public life within a distinctive new waterfront identity for the city.
