Roberto Caputo is an experienced architect with a strong focus on mixed‑use developments and complex master planning. As a Director at PLP Architecture, he plays a key role in coordinating design and delivery across multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale projects.His work spans commercial, residential, retail and life‑sciences developments across the UK, the Middle East, Asia and South America
Roberto has played a key role on multiple projects within Aerocity in Delhi, India, leading the design of large‑scale workplace and retail‑led mixed‑use developments adjacent to the international airport, he is currently involved in various other mixed‑use schemes and master planning across the country. In the Middle East, Roberto has contributed to several PLP’s high‑profile projects in Saudi Arabia, including design and coordination for major residential towers and competition work for a Waterside Project in Jeddah, as well as mixed‑use developments in Riyadh. In South America, he has recently worked on a large‑scale urban master planning project within a rapidly evolving metropolitan context.
Roberto has played a key role in PLP Architecture’s work in London through his involvement in the Whitechapel Healthcare and Research Campus, a major integrated life‑sciences, healthcare and residential development within the Barts Life Sciences Cluster. The scheme brings together NHS services, research facilities, specialist accommodation for key workers and a generous new public realm, delivered through a complex planning and stakeholder process
