HaenSuk is a design-led architect and Partner at PLP Architecture, working across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His work is characterised by a strong placemaking agenda, combining spatial clarity, urban integration, and advanced digital methodologies to deliver context-driven architecture.
He has led the design of major international projects, including the Yandex Headquarters in Moscow, where he acted as Lead Design Architect. The project explores the convergence of workplace, landscape, and technology, creating a highly integrated environment that supports new modes of collaboration and flexibility,
His portfolio spans commercial, residential, retail, and masterplanning projects, including Corso Como Place in Milan, Sky Central in London, and the headquarters for Mwani, the Qatar Ports Management Company. Across these projects, he develops design strategies that respond to cultural context while maintaining a clear and consistent architectural language.
In the UK, HaenSuk has contributed to a number of significant London developments, including Lincoln Square in Westminster and 4 Cannon Street, a sensitive commercial intervention within the City’s historic fabric. His experience also includes major workplace and mixed-use schemes such as Sky Central and Qatar Airways’ UK Headquarters in Mayfair.
More recently, he has been leading key projects in Korea, including Seoul Forest Tower in Seongsu, a workplace conceived as a vertical campus integrating public realm, flexible environments, and landscape. He also played a central role in the design and delivery of the Korean National Meteorological Center in Daejeon, the first net-zero government building in Korea, setting a benchmark for sustainable public architecture.
