Eleftheria Varda is a design‑led architect with strong expertise in delivering people‑centred, high‑quality environments across diverse markets. As a Director at PLP Architecture, she leads complex projects from concept through delivery, combining strategic thinking with design excellence. Her work spans residential, workplace, hospitality and mixed‑use projects across India, the Middle East, the UK and Europe.
In India, she has played a key role in major developments including Aerocity, a large‑scale, transit‑oriented mixed‑use district, and is currently leading the design of a luxury residential tower in Mumbai, shaping a refined residential destination rooted in place and lifestyle. In the Middle East, Eleftheria acted as the design lead for PLP’s luxury residential master planning project in Dubai, overseeing the development of beachfront and upscale residential communities with an emphasis on privacy, wellbeing, and top-tier amenities. In Saudi Arabia, Eleftheria was part of the design team for the Ministry of Civil Services HQ in Riyadh. Aside from project work, Eleftheria has also worked on PLP's strategic consultancy projects, such as the development of a workplace design guideline for leading GCC Country, translating policy, culture and user needs into clear, future‑focused spatial standards.
Eleftheria has led and contributed to a range of complex projects across London. She was recently part of the senior team for Holborn Viaduct, the new headquarters for Hogan Lovells, delivering a highly adaptable, healthy workplace defined by flexible environments and biodiverse green terraces. She has also played a key role in major mixed‑use developments across the capital, including the Whitechapel Estate Masterplan, where she coordinated multiple building types through the planning process to ensure design coherence, quality and sensitivity to the historic East London context.
