Cindy Lau is an experienced architect with strong expertise in delivering complex, high‑quality buildings from concept through construction.As a Director at PLP Architecture, she plays a key role in leading technical coordination and project delivery across major commissions. Her work spans residential, commercial, healthcare, mixed‑use and master planning projectsacross the UK, India, Asia and the Middle East.
Cindy brings extensive international experience across Asia, the Middle East, and the UK, leading complex projects from concept through delivery. In India, she is directing the design and delivery of Lodha Seaface in Mumbai, a high‑end luxury residential development on a prominent coastal site, requiring rigorous coordination and exacting design standards. Her Middle East experience includes luxury residential projects in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. In Hong Kong, she acted as Project Architect for One Harbour Gate, a major mixed‑use waterfront development comprising commercial towers and retail buildings. Her professional training in New Zealand and the UK has given her a strong international outlook and the ability to deliver projects across diverse global contexts.
In the UK, Cindy has a proven track record delivering complex, high‑profile projects across London, with particular expertise in technically demanding urban sites. As Technical Director for the Cleveland Clinic London, she led the coordination and delivery of the hospital’s first European facility, transforming a former office building into a world‑class healthcare environment. Her London portfolio also includes Sky Central, Sky’s award‑winning headquarters, as well as Kaleidoscope (TikTok’s UK headquarters), Lincoln Square, and 60 Curzon Street. Alongside practice, Cindy is a Senior Teaching Associate at the University of Cambridge and a Part 3 Professional Examiner at the Architectural Association.
