Ted is a Senior Associate Partner and Art Director with over fifteen years of experience. On the formation of PLP Architecture, Ted worked alongside the multi-disciplinary design firm Pentagram on the design of the visual identity of the studio. He continues to apply and develop this theme to the practice’s graphic standards, the communications material and the website.
With extensive knowledge of the print and production processes, the graphic design team creates an comprehensive range of presentation material, from brochures and exhibitions to visual identity of architecture and urban design commissions. To achieve a coherent visual language throughout the work of the studio, the graphics team collaborates with the architects, visualizers and model makers and liaises with photographers, illustrators, web developers, filmmakers, copywriters and publishers.
Prior to PLP Architecture, Ted was Art Director at Kohn Pedersen Fox Architects in London. As head of a team of graphic designers, he was responsible for maintaining the corporate identity of the firm. The team’s digital and print media had an important role in the successful outcome of the public inquiry for Heron Tower within the City of London.
