Veanna Hoi Ting Chan is a Director at PLP Architecture. Veanna’s sector specialisms include hotels, office towers and a variety of residential projects and their associated component amenities.
Following her recent engagement on the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at Heron Plaza development: a five-star hotel tower in London that includes high end residential apartments, she is currently working on the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi, Sowwah Island development in Abu Dhabi’s new business district in the UAE. This five-star hotel complex is designed to achieve the highest ESTIDAMA rating and will be one of the most environmentally advanced hotel buildings in the region.
Her previous hotel experience includes the major renovation and expansion of the high profile Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong while she was employed with Aedas (Hong Kong). There her responsibilities included coordination with clients, suppliers and contractors, sub-consultants and preparation of detail design including tender drawings, contract drawings and documents.
Veanna is familiar with Middle East culture, having worked in Dubai in her capacity as Project Architect for the Red Line Depots project for Dubai Road Transport Authority, where she was responsible for design, coordination, project administration and delivery of the project.
Veanna received both her Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and her Master of Architecture from the University of Hong Kong. She is a registered Architect (Hong Kong).
