Tommy Lee, ARB


Tommy is a Director and architect with over thirteen years of experience working on major projects for architectural practices in London and Hong Kong. He has extensive knowledge of planning, contract administration and coordination of building services design. He also has a particular interest in renewable energy systems.


Tommy is a key design team member for Foshan New City Suning Plaza, China, a complex mixed-use development which includes offices, hotel, residential and retail facilities and a central plaza. Having led the coordination of design and planning issues with the Local Design Institute, he is responsible for the master plan and the design of the 318-metre high landmark office and hotel tower.


His previous experience includes an award-winning university, primary schools with integrated community facilities, childcare centres, offices, residential buildings, retail and sports facilities in London, and the design of a rail station on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link as part of the Thames Gateway urban regeneration. Tommy also practises jewellery and graphic design which encourage his focus on detail and buildability.


Tommy holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Master of Architecture degree (1st with distinction) from the University of Bath. His accolades include a Graduate Design award and a feature in Building Design’s 100 Top UK graduates.
