Architects from PLP Architecture volunteer with The City Centre’s Learning Program, designing and delivering workshops to promote careers in architecture for young people

We have partnered with The City Centre, The City of London’s centre for the built environment, to design and deliver workshops to children of various ages from participating schools. The workshops are designed to stimulate students’ interest in the built environment and show them how to pursue architecture and urban planning as a careers path. Activities have ranged from simple careers presentations, explaining the day to day work of architects, to full day workshops creating scale drawings and models, proposing new tall buildings for London, and learning about planning processes and their effect on the city.
