Vivienne is a Senior Associate Partner at PLP Architecture and a UK registered architect who has been involved in a wide range of UK and international projects, and has experience on all stages of the design process from feasibility studies to construction and delivery.
After working with some of UK’s leading architectural practices on various residential, academic, corporate, leisure and mixed-use projects, Vivienne joined PLP Architecture in 2013 and has since led a number of competition winning designs, including an office redevelopment in Belgravia and the 1.27 hectare Whitechapel Estate masterplan in Tower Hamlets. She was also responsible for the design and brief development of a 110,000sqm mixed-used development in Southwark.
Prior to PLP, Vivienne led a number of international projects during her time at Foster & Partners, such as the design and coordination of a corporate training campus in Shenzhen, China, which included a range of teaching, recreational and accommodation facilities, liaising with the client on brief development, operational requirements and code compliance. She also led the concept and detail design for Faena House, a luxury condominium on Miami Beach, Florida. Other projects include luxury villas for a golf resort in Hainan, China; a hotel & serviced apartment building in New York City; and Ciudad Casa de Gobierno, the new city hall for Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Vivienne also has extensive UK project experience, having worked on the design, coordination and delivery of award-winning projects including The Leigh Technology Academy in Dartford, which was shortlisted for the 2009 RIBA Award. Other projects include various refurbishment and new-build designs with the University of York, University College London and the Newport City Campus for the University of Wales which received the RIBA Award in 2011.
Vivienne graduated from Rhode Island School of Design where she received her Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees with a minor in Art History, and was the recipient of various scholarships including AIA/AAF Scholarship for First Professional Degree and Proctor & Gamble Inc. Scholarship. She received her RIBA Part III Diploma from London Metropolitan University, and has been a LEED accredited professional since 2012.
