Alessandra Luzzatto is a Partner at PLP Architecture. She has practiced architecture in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East for the past 15 years. Alex was at KPF London before joining PLP. Her career has included working on a variety of projects ranging from commercial, retail, residential and urban planning – the latter including the 1,650 hectare Aerospace City mixed-use masterplan in Qatar which she led as project manager while at PLP.
At KPF, Alessandra was involved in the major expansion of the Abu Dhabi International Airport, the refurbishment of a London office building and a large-scale urban redevelopment competition in Milan, Italy. Also in Milan, she was the project manager, client liaison and project coordinator on the Porto Nuovo Milan Varesine mixed-use masterplan; she managed the initial stages through to detail design and tender supervision of the three office buildings within the scheme. These buildings are currently on site and are the first in Italy to achieve a Class A energy rating and to be LEED certified.
She was educated at the Polytechnic of Milan, the University of California at Berkeley and the Inchbald School of Design, London.
