ONE Bishopsgate Plaza will be the first high-rise residential and hospitality development built in the City in many years, and a new step in the City’s history. Comprising of luxury private residences and London’s first Pan Pacific Hotel, the 43-storey tower combines a unique mixture of functions and multiple ambitions, including the transformation of part of the Bishopsgate Conservation Area at Devonshire Row through the historic building and the creation of a large new public plaza.

 

The luxurious Pan Pacific London will provide a facility unmatched in scale and quality by any existing hotels in the City. The provision of top quality meeting and events space, including a double height ballroom, together with the other public functions of the hotel, will support the City’s function as a centre for business. The Pacific Ballroom will also be the Square Mile’s first dedicated ballroom and can host a banquet for up to 370 guests. The building’s form steps as it rises, providing terraces and other amenity spaces.

 

The tower is designed to reflect the quality and ambitions of the development overall, with bronze louvres in varying configurations providing contrast to the nearby Heron Tower’s more solid, silver form. The façade is made up of numerous variations of louvres and glazing, with subtle differences providing aesthetic variety and architectural sophistication to the tower’s overall form.
