Miglena is a Senior Associate Partner and an architect who has been engaged on projects and competitions across a range of sectors including offices, hotels, education buildings, residential buildings and mixed-use masterplans within the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
At PLP Architecture, Miglena is a key member of the design team responsible for several residential projects in London, including the masterplan and design of the Sampson House and Ludgate House project on a prominent site on the River Thames, which provides a unique opportunity to create a destination centre and a northern ‘gateway’ to the London Borough of Southwark. Miglena is integral to the design of a luxury residential building off Park Lane in the Mayfair Conservation Area. This new-build project will unify its setting by enhancing the Grade II listed façades of two mid-18th century terraced town-houses.
Further afield, projects include the design of the luxury hotel and serviced apartments for the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi project at Al Maryah Island and the Qatar City masterplan.
Prior to joining PLP Architecture, Miglena worked on several projects and competitions at KPF London. She received her degree in Architectural Studies in 2006 from the Technische Universität München in Munich.
