Kristel Marquez is an Associate Partner and Designer at PLP Architecture, with more than 9 years of experience in architecture, working on a range of commercial, residential, office, educational and hospitality projects across Europe and Australia. Since joining PLP, Kristel has been involved in the design of a 16-storey residential building incorporating 55 luxury apartments, facilities and a new townhouse at Chiltern Place near Marylebone High Street in Westminster, London. Further to this Kristel worked on Foshan Suning Plaza, a mixed use tower in China, leading the design team of the retail mall. In addition, Kristel has joined the design team for a retail / renovation scheme for the Adidas Flagship Store at Oxford Street in Westminster, London.
Prior to joining PLP, Kristel has been employed at Brand & Slater Architects and PL Architects Pty Ltd, were she was involved in various projects, such as a 10 apartment residential development and several educational projects in Brisbane, Australia, of which; a new library with attached classrooms at St. Joseph’s Primary school, a new classroom complex and covered assembly quadrangle at St. Oliver Plunkett Primary School at Cannon Hill and a new performing arts complex and student mall at St. Agatha’s Primary School at Clayfield.
Kristel achieved a BA of Built Environment and a Master of Architecture at the Queensland University of Technology. She is a registered Architect in Australia.
