Jin-uk Lee

SENIOR Associate Partner

Jin-uk is a Senior Associate Partner and designer at PLP Architecture, with a specialisation in parametric architectural design development. He has worked on a number of the studio’s major architecture and urban design projects, feasibility studies and design competitions in the UK, China and Korea. He coordinates the company’s interests in Korea including entries to international design competitions and collaborative proposals with local architects.


Jin-uk is a key member of the design team responsible for a new form of shared living space that integrates student accommodation, office or incubator space to support the next generation of young entrepreneurs, and retail and flexible community space in Stratford London; and a residential development situated above Paddington Crossrail station. Further projects include Foshan New City Suning Plaza, China, a highly commended complex mixed-use development which includes a 318-metre high landmark office and hotel tower, residential and retail facilities and a central plaza.


Previously, Jin-uk led an interior design practice in Korea specialised in hospital, office, and university campus projects. He has held teaching roles for a parametric design workshop in Taiwan and design studios in various universities in Korea. Jin-uk graduated and completed his RIBA Part I & II from the Architectural Association after receiving both his Bachelor of Fine Art and Master of Design degree from Seoul National University in Korea.
