Ian Oppenheim is an Associate Partner at PLP Architecture. He is a UK registered architect and member of the RIBA with over 30 years of experience working on projects that include high-end new build and refurbishment schemes in the mixed-use, commercial, education and residential sectors.
At PLP, Ian played a key role leading the architectural team for Chiltern Place, a project for Ronson Capital Partners. The completed design includes a 15-storey residential building, retail facilities and a new townhouse near Marylebone High Street, London. Ian is currently part of the team responsible for cross-package coordination and delivery of 22 Bishopsgate, the largest office development in the City of London.
Before joining PLP, Ian worked for architectural practices in London designing and delivering a range of schemes for both public and private sector clients from inception through to completion; projects included the Jenner Wing renovation at St George’s University of London; Offices for the International Institute for Environment and Development, a seven-storey office fit-out in Central London; The Wren Academy in North London and the University of Portsmouth Library. Ian has also designed and delivered numerous high-end residential projects for private clients.
He received his Bachelors in Architecture at Manchester University and Diploma from the Architectural Association. Furthermore, Ian has been an examiner for Part 3 students at Oxford Brookes University.
