Daniele Diana is a Director at PLP with more than twelve years’ professional experience working on a range of projects – transportation, masterplans, civic, leisure, offices, residential and mixed-use schemes – in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. His recent projects include United Kingdom Center for Medical Research and Innovation (UKCMRI), a new state-of-art medical research facility located in central London and a central London mixed-use development of two towers providing hotel and residential accommodation.
Daniele, while at KPF, worked on the $6.8 billion expansion of the Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Complex development which is now in construction. Also in the Middle East, he was a team member for the design of the 73-storey Al Asima Capital City (Kuwait) mixed-use complex providing retail, cinema, restaurants, executive hotel, health club and conference facilities. He has worked on similar high rise projects in Russia and France.
Daniele gained extensive work experience on a variety of projects in Europe: Munich; the Italian cities of Padova, Tuscany, Palermo and Milan. These include masterplans, museums, hotels, retail projects, residential developments and mixed-use complexes.
He earned his Level 1 (B.Arch equivalent) and a Master of Architecture (First Class Honours) from the Università Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, Italy.
