PLP Architecture has created some of the world's smartest buildings, which have redefined what it means to live and work in today’s cities. PLP Labs is a research collaborative that develops concepts and technologies aimed at the future development of cities and urban living.
PLP is currently designing projects across three continents and has buildings under construction in the UK, The Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore and Japan. Notable work in a diverse portfolio includes 22 Bishopsgate, Sky Central and Bankside Yards in London, Tree House and The Edge in Amsterdam, Corso Como Place in Milan, and the new Yandex Headquarters in Moscow.
We are a non-hierarchical, collaborative, multi-disciplinary practice with the culture of a young start-up.
PLP is seeking a Marketing and Press Coordinator, with a proactive and engaged approach, to work with all project and support teams across our London studio.
The candidate will be responsible for a variety of internal and external tasks related to the practice’s marketing and new business efforts. Working as part of a small, energetic, and cohesive group, this role will include both support-based and stand-alone tasks centring around the way the practice portrays its work, studio and staff.
We are interested in a motivated self-starter who can work effectively to short and long-term goals and deadlines and think in creative manner, managing changing schedules and prioritising tasks and requirements. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the built environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage office PR and press, interfacing where required with external agency.
- Develop and manage an engaging social media strategy and ensure effective Implementation in line with identified campaign strategies.
- Copywriting, including but not limited to social media posts, blog articles, event descriptions and press releases.
- Work with the Head of Business Development to track bids, monitoring submission deadlines and following up where required.
- Coordinate the bid and tender process from start to finish, undertaking preparation of all documentation and working closely with the senior team to produce competitive, concise and compelling responses to public and private sector bids and RFPs.
- Identify and coordinate entries into regional and national design award programs.
- Create digital content.
- Work, when required, with the Communications and Project Teams to create or edit project texts, press releases and thematic brochures.
- Maintain the internal marketing calendar.
- Perform sector research and coordinate related targeted campaigns.
- Liaise / maintain relationships with industry organisations.
- Monitor industry events / organise office attendees.
- Manage and maintain a programme of internal knowledge-sharing talks with internal and external individuals.
- Monitor tender portals and competition opportunities.
- Assist with the management and updates to the office CRM / Image Database systems.
Key skills and experience required:
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce and OpenAsset
- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn business accounts
- Experience with Bid Submissions / Tender Portals
- Ability to speak a European language is advantageous

PLP Architecture seeks an accomplished professional with a proven track record in this discipline to work collaboratively with us to define and drive our commitment to sustainability at a strategic level.
The candidate will help define the practices goals on carbon reduction and environmentally responsible design methods.
The successful candidate will work with the Senior Management and Project Teams to implement and operate relevant sustainability software to projects in the office which include Operational Carbon, Climate, Solar, Microclimate, Parametric generation of massing based on environmental drivers and Embodied Carbon. They will be familiar in using Revit plugins and tool kits for projects to make decisions.
The successful candidate will ensure the implementation of internal staff training. They will develop lessons learnt tools, POE methodology, project toolkits and the introduction of regular sustainability reviews of projects.
Strong and clear communication skills are essential together with a passion to drive sustainability and its importance within the practice.
This is a full-time position with benefits, based in our London office. An architectural or engineering background is preferred.

PLP is seeking talented and motivated Interior Designers/Interior Architects at all levels to work with us in our London-based studio. This is a 3-month contract to start immediately.
Essential experience and skills:
- Experience working on workplace or mixed used fit out schemes for concept stage
- Strong graphic communication skills and good design sensitivity
- Creative flair with an excellent eye for detail and quality
- Ability to work independently whilst functioning in a large team environment, with the willingness to adapt to daily needs of the design team
- Strong 2D and 3D skills including, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, InDesign, Illustrator

PLP is seeking talented, motivated, and enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistants to work in our London-based studio, on short-term contracts basis.
We have several exciting projects requiring recently qualified Part 2 assistants and an experienced Part 2 with minimum five years’ experience with parametric skills.
Essential experience and skills:
- Previous experience working in a UK architectural practice
- Strong 2D and 3D skills including, Rhino, Revit, MicroStation, Grasshopper and other design communication skills like InDesign, Illustrator would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive, team player and willing to work autonomously
- Available to start immediately
