Receptionist

 

PLP are a group of architects, designers and thinkers who value the transformative role of ideas and the capacity for architecture to inspire.

We are seeking a receptionist to join our London office on a full-time basis.  The working hours will be either 8.00am – 5.00pm or 9.00am – 6.00pm, you will be required to be flexible to work either shift.

 

The main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the reception area, ensuring it is kept tidy - transfer calls, meet and greet clients, organise couriers, setting up web meetings
  • Setting up the office as well as reception each day
  • Managing the meeting room system on outlook
  • Ordering stationery and lunch for meetings
  • Monitoring and updating the building visitor management system with guests
  • You will be part of a wider administration team and will provide additional support when required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Knowledge of MS Office

Architects Experienced in Japanese projects

We are seeking talented and motivated architects who have had previous experience in working on projects in Japan, to work with us in our London-based studio.

 

Experience on Japanese projects is a must.

 

Candidates must have:

  • A good grasp of architectural design and construction practice in Japan, as well as local building codes and regulations
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills with good design sensitivity
  • The ability to work independently whilst functioning in a team environment
  • Fluent in Japanese, both written and verbal
  • Excellent skills in both Revit, Rhino and Adobe Suite (must have working knowledge in practice)
